Contest rules
Jane summer challenge
THESE RULES GOVERN THE JANE SUMMER CHALLENGE (THE “CHALLENGE”). NO PURCHASE IS
NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Sponsor
The Challenge is sponsored by Jane Software Inc. (“Jane,” “we,” or “us”).
2. Challenge Period
The Challenge begins on July 9, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. PST and ends on September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
PST (the “Challenge Period”).
3. Eligibility
To be eligible to participate, you must, at the time of entry:
-
Be an active, enrolled participant in one of Jane’s Ambassador, Affiliate, Education, or
Association partner programs (each, a “Program”) as of -
Be a legal resident of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec) or the United States
(including the District of Columbia, and excluding Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories); -
Have reached the age of majority in your province, territory, or state of residence at the time
of entry; and -
Not be an employee, officer, director, or contractor of Jane, or a member of such person’s
immediate family (spouse, parent, child, sibling) or household.
4. How to Earn Entries
During the Challenge Period, eligible participants may earn entries into a random prize draw for their
Program by completing one or more of the following “Qualifying Activities”:
- Referring a new client or partner through Jane’s standard referral tracking (JAM) — entry credited automatically upon a verified referral;
- Submitting original content (e.g., blog post, video, social post) that the participant has published to their own audience, via the official submission form, in accordance with the Content Guidelines referenced in Section 6;
- Submitting proof of a partner collaboration (e.g., screenshot, recording, link) via the official submission form;
- Submitting a written or video testimonial via the official submission form.
Each verified Qualifying Activity earns one (1) entry. There is no limit to the number of entries a participant may earn during the Challenge Period.
4.1 Free Alternate Method of Entry (No Purchase or Activity Required)
Alternatively, eligible participants may obtain one (1) entry, at no cost and without performing a Qualifying Activity, by mailing a postcard with their name, partner account email, and the word ‘ENTRY’ to Unit 500 - 138 13th Street East, North Vancouver B.C., Canada V7L 0E5, postmarked during the Challenge Period and received by Jane no later than September 30. Limit one (1) entry per person via this method.
5. Prize Draw and Winner Selection
Winners are selected by random draw, not by judging or skill. Promptly following the end of the Challenge Period, Jane will conduct one random draw per Program from among all verified eligible entries received for that Program during the Challenge Period. One (1) winner will be selected per Program (four (4) winners total). Odds of winning depend on the total number of verified entries received for that Program. Draws will be conducted by a Jane employee not otherwise involved in the Challenge, using a random number generator.
6. Content Guidelines
Content submitted as part of a Qualifying Activity must:
- Be original to the participant and not created as a paid or sponsored deliverable for any third party;
- Align with the content brief, SEO direction, and brand guidelines provided to participants at the start of the Challenge;
- Not contain content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or that depicts an identifiable third party without that third party’s prior consent.
By submitting content, the participant confirms they have obtained any consent required from third parties appearing in or otherwise connected to the submitted content, including for Jane’s use of that content as described in Section 7.
7. License to Use Submissions; Publicity
By submitting content or a testimonial, the participant grants Jane a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, and publish the submission (and the participant’s name, likeness, and Program affiliation in connection with it) in Jane’s marketing and promotional materials, in any medium, including digital, social, and print, with or without attribution at Jane’s discretion. This license survives the end of the Challenge. Acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to Jane’s use of their name, likeness, Program affiliation, and statements about the Challenge for promotional purposes, without additional compensation,
except where prohibited by law.
8. Referral Entries and Acceptance of Rules
Participants who earn entries solely through automatically tracked referrals, without submitting content through the official form, are deemed to accept these Rules by participating in their Program and receiving the Challenge launch communication, provided that communication links to or includes these Rules.
9. Prizes
One (1) grant of $5,000 CAD or USD (currency will be determined by Jane based on the location of the winner) will be awarded to the winner selected for each Program (four (4) grants total; approximate total value $20,000 CAD or USD). Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash, except at Jane’s sole discretion. Jane may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
10. Winner Notification
Potential winners will be notified by email and through PartnerStack within ten (10) days of the winners being determined, and must respond within ten (10) business days to claim their prize. A potential winner who cannot be reached, does not respond within the required time, or does not meet eligibility requirements will forfeit the prize, and Jane may select an alternate winner from the remaining verified entries for that Program, at its discretion.
11. Taxes
Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes associated with receiving a prize. Jane may issue applicable tax forms (e.g., a T4A in Canada or Form 1099 in the United States) where required by law. Winners are encouraged to consult a tax professional for advice specific to their situation.
