Hi, I’m Lais Celem, a Product Design Manager and Group Lead at Jane. I’ve been here for three years, and I lead the teams responsible for the very first experiences our customers have with Jane. From the moment someone signs up, through onboarding, setup, and data import, my group focuses on making Jane easy to learn, easy to trust, and genuinely valuable from day one. That early experience matters deeply to our mission to help the helpers, because when clinics feel confident and supported early, they can spend more time caring for people.
As a human, I’m raising two small kids, wrangling a very happy dog, and live near world-class climbing. I also spend a month each year working from Brazil with my family. Jane’s remote work flexibility lets me show up fully at home while still taking on ambitious, meaningful work. That balance, combined with a high bar for craft and care, is what keeps me energized about what we’re building.
We’re forming a brand new Settings and Navigation team to tackle a complex and highly impactful challenge for Jane. This Staff Product Designer role is a chance to shape how customers find their way through Jane, customize it to fit their clinics, and feel confident every time they navigate the product. It’s meaningful work with real reach, and a lot of discovery at the heart of it.
What Impact We’re Looking for You to Make
Advocate for our helpers by grounding decisions in thoughtful user research and deep information architecture analysis, ensuring their needs are clearly understood and represented.
Elevate the quality of how people navigate Jane, find content, and set up or customize their experience, creating flows that feel intuitive, calm, and trustworthy.
Collaborate closely with value-stream teams to design a cohesive, forward-thinking navigation and settings experience that scales with Jane’s growth.
Reduce friction and confusion when searching for information or configuring Jane, contributing to lower support volume and a smoother day-to-day experience for clinics.
Step into leadership moments by aligning stakeholders, clearly communicating the why behind your work, and using storytelling to bring teams along with confidence and care.
The Experience We Feel You need:
8+ years of product design experience in a SaaS or similarly complex environment.
Demonstrated experience redesigning complex navigation systems and information-heavy products, with strong information architecture skills.
Experience leading user research and turning insights into clear, confident design decisions that improve product outcomes.
Fluency with modern design tools and comfort working iteratively in close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other designers.
A solid understanding of how AI systems work, and experience designing trustworthy, human-centered experiences that are thoughtfully supported by AI.
*If you don’t meet every single qualification but are excited about this role, we’d still love to hear from you.
