Kathryn Esquer is a practicing clinical psychologist who co-hosts the popular podcast "Am I a Bad Therapist?" and serves as the executive director of the Therapist Network. As someone who understands the difficulties that mental health professionals encounter, Kathryn is dedicated to addressing the lack of systemic support for early-career therapists. As executive director of the Therapist Network, Kathryn brings together forward-thinking therapists to leverage the collective power of peer support and prevent the burnout that comes with clinical work. Kathryn also co-hosts the popular podcast "Am I a Bad Therapist?" which explores the challenges and rewards of being a therapist in today's complex world. Through honest and thought-provoking conversations with other mental health professionals, she sheds light on the realities of the profession and offers insights into how therapists can navigate the many ethical and emotional dilemmas they face.

✈️ What area of the world do you most want to visit?

It’s not a specific location, but I’ve always wanted to experience the aurora borealis (northern lights) and aurora australis (southern lights).

Switching from your old EHR to Jane is so easy that if feels like magic.

I leave best by diving in and doing it! It’s led to epic failures, countless stories, and a few incredible successes.
