I Can't Log Into my Jane Account: A Troubleshooting Guide

If you’re a patient– you will just need to contact your clinic directly, as they will be able to help you reset your password and make sure that you’re using the correct username.

If you’re a practitioner and you’re having trouble logging into your admin account– you’ve come to the right place!

1️⃣ Head to the Admin URL

For starters– to log into the admin side of Jane, you will want to make sure you’re adding the /admin part to the login.

Sometimes if you’re signing in with a login Jane doesn’t recognize, for security reasons she’ll only log you in as a patient. So if you’re finding that you’re only able to access the patient portal, read on!

You’ll want to bookmark this link for future reference.

So for example if your clinic booking site is demo.janeapp.com or abcclinic.janeapp.com, try logging in at demo.janeapp.com/admin or abcclinic.janeapp.com/admin

2️⃣ Make sure you’re using the correct username

Then log in with the username or social login method you set up for your account. Jane will not associate any other methods of login with that staff profile.

If you can’t remember what you were using previously to log in or are continuing to have troubles, you’ll need to have somebody in the clinic tell you what your username is. It can be found on your staff profile, highlighted in green. The staff member can also send you a reset password email from this page:

If you’re just having trouble on one device– ie, trying to log in on your phone– you can check this information yourself on your usual device to make sure that you’re using the correct username.
