What is Jane Ambassadors Live?

Jane Ambassadors Live is an in-person event that offers an opportunity for Jane Ambassadors to connect with each other, hear from industry experts, and experience firsthand where Jane grew up. This event will take place from June 22-24, 2023, in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Registration is limited to a maximum of 25 Jane Ambassadors.

Is this an in-person event?

Yes! We're looking forward to seeing you there.

Can I attend virtually?

Jane Ambassadors Live is an in-person event, which means that attendees will have the opportunity to experience the excitement and energy of being physically present. Rather than being limited to a virtual experience, attendees will be able to fully engage with the speakers and participate in activities that will leave a lasting impression. So, while there is no option to attend virtually, the benefits of attending in person are numerous and will make for an unforgettable experience.

How much does event registration cost?

Registration is free, and Jane will cover the following additional costs:
  • Your two-night single-room hotel accommodation (nights of Thursday, June 22, and Friday, June 23) in North Vancouver
  • The June 22 cocktail reception
  • All meals on June 23 including a group dinner
  • For the June 24 optional Capilano Suspension Bridge visit, breakfast, ground transportation, and entry fee will be covered by Jane

You will be responsible for all other costs, such as flights, other transportation, additional meals, incidentals (including passport fees), and any expenses for your plus ones should you decide to bring a guest with you. (Please note, your guest will not be able to attend any of the Jane-hosted events as these are designed to establish connections between Ambassadors.)

Who’s invited? How will I know if I’m an Ambassador?

This event is exclusive to Jane Ambassadors. If you're not sure whether you're a Jane Ambassador, you can reach out to [email protected] to confirm.

Am I allowed to bring family members or friends?

You are welcome to bring additional guests on your journey to Vancouver, but they will not be able to attend the scheduled events. If you'd like to bring an extra guest, you will be responsible for their expenses. Any more than one additional guest will require a hotel room upgrade for an additional $30 CAD per night.

I’m booking my flights, what airport should I fly into?

We recommend flying into Vancouver International Airport

Can I drive to the event?

If you live within driving distance, you are welcome to drive yourself to Vancouver. Parking is available at the hotel and in nearby garages at your expense.

Do I need a passport?

Yes, international travellers will require a passport to visit Canada.

Where will we be staying?

Seaside Hotel North Vancouver.
Check-in: 4:00 pm | Check-out: 12:00 pm

Seaside Hotel North Vancouver offers a restaurant, room service, and a 24-hour front desk, along with free WiFi.

What if I want to extend my trip or arrive early?

If you want to extend your trip to Vancouver, you are welcome to do so! However, please note that any additional costs, including travel and accommodations, will be at your own expense.

Once you register, the Jane team will book your hotel room. For any additional nights before or after the event, please contact the hotel directly and use JANE APP room block code in order to guarantee Jane’s group rate of $389 CAD + 16% tax per night.

What are my options to get from the airport to the hotel?

There are several options to get from Vancouver International Airport to the Seaside Hotel North Vancouver:
  • Taxi: A taxi ride will cost approximately $50-$60 CAD and take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
  • Public Transit: Take the Canada Line to Waterfront Station, then transfer to the Seabus to Lonsdale Quay. From there, The Seaside Hotel is about a 5-minute walk (see attached screenshot). This option will cost approximately $10 CAD and take around 1 hour.
  • Uber: You can book a private car service, such as Uber or Lyft, which will cost approximately $50-$60 CAD and take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

What should I pack?

We recommend comfortable, casual clothing and walking shoes. You may also want to bring a light waterproof jacket and a sweater for cooler evenings, and maybe an umbrella if you have one. Don't forget any necessary travel documents and personal items such as medication and toiletries!

Will meals be provided?

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided on Friday, June 23. Breakfast will be provided on Saturday, June 24. Attendees are responsible for all other meals and snacks during the event.

Please note any dietary restrictions and/or allergies during registration.

Is COVID testing required to attend?

Although we will not be testing attendees of the event, having a vaccine is mandatory to cross the border.

What to do if I’m feeling unwell?

If you're feeling unwell (including common cold symptoms):
  • Please stay home and rest as needed. We’ll miss you, but we appreciate you keeping the other attendees and the Jane team safe!
